NEBOSH International Fire Certificate training program is split into three modules, which are assessed in two different ways.
Unit IGC1: Management of International Health and Safety (also part of NEBOSH IGC),
Unit IFC1: Fire Safety and Risk Management
Unit IFC2: Workplace-Based Practical Assessment (Fire Risk Assessment)
All units must be completed within 5 years to achieve full NEBOSH Fire Certificate qualification.
Units IGC1 and IFC1 are assessed by one-hour written exam with each having ten compulsory short answer and one long answer questions.
Unit IFC2 is assessed by a two-hour practical examination carried out in candidate’s workplace.
Are there any entry requirements for the International Fire Certificate?
To gain the International Fire Certification, there are no prerequisite for students though they should have English writing ability. Since they have to write exam in English language and all practical assessment will have to be produced in English, it is mandatory that they should communicate their knowledge and skills in clear and concise manner.
