IATA DGR Loading (Ramp)
It is very important that workers in ramps and warehouses who handle dangerous goods should be aware of the potential health hazards of such goods and safe handling procedures.
This course is formulated for workers and transporters who handle or transport dangerous cargo by airplanes. The course emphasizes the safety procedures to be followed by ramp and warehouse workers while loading and unloading goods at airports terminals and aircraft and provides knowledge and skills for safe handling of hazardous cargo.
Governing regulations
This online training program meets the compliance procedures for loading (ramp) and warehouse operations of dangerous goods and safety procedures to be followed for personnel as mentioned in categories 5 and 8 of section 1.5.2.2 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Course Overview
This online course for safe transportation of hazardous goods provides practical and informative training to learners to create awareness on IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations for ramp and warehouse operations. The course provides basic understanding on prevailing regulations and also proven methods to safe handling, screen, identify, register, pack, mark, label and handle different categories of dangerous goods.
Who Must Take this Course?
According to the IATA DGR Section 1.5.0.2, workers who are classified in Tables 1.5.A or 1.5.B must be trained or their competency must be verified prior before they embark on handling dangerous.
