Introduction
When working in confined spaces, people face many dangers, including the huge risk of a hazardous atmosphere. The condition may become worse if there are cases of lack of oxygen or no air circulation and the presence of toxic or inflammable gases. Hence is the importance of the role of a confined space gas tester here.
If you have to work in confined spaces, it is very important that you ensure the air inside is tested for any atmospheric hazards. Besides, the oxygen deficiency and accumulation of toxic gases also put the workers in confined spaces at risk. The essential role of a gas tester enables the workers to have safe working and protects them from exposure to deadly and harmful atmospheres.
This course aimed to delegate the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies for the confined space gas tester to carry out the gas testing of atmospheres in confined spaces. In addition, it helps to equip the important knowledge of safely conducting the gas tests for appropriate oxygen levels and toxic and inflammable gases. By undergoing this training, the learners will have sufficient knowledge on safely conducting the gas testing within the confined spaces and have a good awareness of related confined space hazards. Also, upon completing the training, the participants will have a fair understanding of applicable legislative requirements, measuring the gas, equipment monitoring, and also can document gas test results.
