    Introduction

    This course is designed to gain knowledge on Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessment process in the process industry. In a process industry there are occasions where more advanced risk assessment techniques are needed. There is sometimes a regulatory requirement also to produce reports that contain highly detailed risk assessments that are far above the level achieved by a five step approach.

    This course covers various risk management techniques used within the process industries. Qualitative (Q), Semi-Quantitative (SQ), and Quantified Risk Assessment (QRA) are some of the main topics that would be covered during the course.
