This online training course is specially designed to provide basic awareness to workers about the OSHA safety standards for operating crane, derricks and hoists for both construction and general industries.

The course also provides learners basic understanding on the kind of hazards, operational risks, safe practices, risk management procedures and applicable OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

Governing regulations

Operations of Crane, Derrick and Hoist are controlled by 29 CFR 1910 Subpart N for General Industry, and by 29 CFR 1926 Subpart N for the Construction Industry.
