Management of Change in Process Safety

Though the daily operations vary from industry to industry, managing safety remains constant. The changes are unavoidable in organizations; however, failing to effectively manage the changes ends up in serious incidents and impacts within the organization.

This Management of Change (MOC) is designed to make sure that the changes to a process are well-reviewed for managing the hazards related to the processes and thus mitigating the severity of incidents and any hazards likely to happen by the change are identified and controlled before making the change.

The ultimate goal is to protect the workers by addressing all the changes that pose safety risks and adopting new processes safely.
